As far as Columbus radio stations go, 102.5 is a beacon among corporate dreck, but the community staple since 1990 needs your help.
The radio station is attempting to crowdfund a million dollars, so they can in turn get $5 million bank loan to secure their radio license outright (as opposed to paying $25,000 — and rising — a month).
So far, the internet campaign has raised over $40,000 in a little over 24 hours. That's a long way from $1,000,000, but Central Ohio is known to take care of its own.
