The moon landing is 50 years old this year, and the Ohio State Fair is paying homage to some proper American legends (and an Ohioan) the best way it knows how: butter.
One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.

Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins – the Apollo 11 astronauts – have been recreated in massive amounts of butter.
The exhibit features a sculpture of the famous trio standing together with their masks off as well as a solo sculpture of Armstrong saluting next to the American flag in his space suit after becoming the first man to walk on the moon.
Armstrong, of course, is an Ohio legend who was born, lived and died in the Buckeye State. It's only fitting he's given perhaps Ohio's greatest honor.
