Today in 1995 a legend passed away. However, he lives on in so many ways. 

Jerry did everything with true passion. He sometimes gets knocked for not the being the best guitar player, but, he most certainly was more than competent. I heard it somewhere that he didn't play the guitar with his hands, he played it with his heart and soul. This is so true. Vocally, he can bring grown middle aged men to tears. 

Today is a day or celebration, not a day of mourning. His music lives on. It will be played by others, to sell out crowds, for a long, long time.
