I have to buy a new mattress and I was told once that every company makes the same mattresses for every different store, but they put different names on them so you can’t cross compare. I’m sure that’s true but I’m wondering if these ‘mattress warehouses’ and ‘wholesalers’ are getting the same products as the chain stores?

What do you look for when shopping for a mattress (other than the obvious feel component)?
