Hey dubbers -
The family is moving to Columbus by the end of the year and I'm looking for a little advice. Everyone tells me that cash offers are preferred as they are cleaner and faster than the traditional method of attaining a bank loan. I am also told that cash offers are preferred even if they are less than a non-cash buyer. My question is, how much lower? Has anyone closed an all cash offer recently and what % below list price got the job done? I plan to rely heavily on the realtor but wanted to pick the collective brain of you hooligans.
I'll also take any other home buying tips...
