After a premature announcement of his death yesterday, Tony Dow, best known as Wally Cleaver the big brother to "the Beav" on the 60's sit-com, Leave it to Beaver, has sadly died of liver cancer at the age of 77. If there was ever a TV portrayal of the perfect big brother, Wally was it. This show was my favorite years ago and I still find myself watching this show on MeTV on a regular basis. Clean, innocent, entertaining, and just plain fun show. Tony Dow was a kind, generous, caring man and will be missed by a legend of fans of all ages!
