I don't know the details on this but it seems the Columbus Cop may  have gotten some special treatment in getting these charges dropped. I could definitely be wrong. But I think it's an interesting counterpoint to all the articles we see about Buckeyes getting pulled over by CPD for what seems a lot less. And, I'm usually a pretty ardent supporter of cops.
