US Senators Joe Manchin and Tommy Tuberville have introduced the Protecting Athletes, Schools, and Sports Act of 2023.

The PASS Act  purpose is to protect student-athletes, foster fair competition and compensation, promote transparency while preserving the tradition of college sports.

So given the only existing rule seems to be there are no rules when it comes to NIL,  is national legislation like the PASS Act the route to go in regulating college sports in the new environment? Or not.
