I was running a few errands last evening in the northwest Columbus area. This was 7-930 last night. I have been struck in recent months by how quiet things seem to be around 8-9 pm. I figured after a win yesterday that some places would be packed with cars. Restaurants, a bowling alley, couple of ice cream shops were all quiet.
Growing up in Columbus, you could tell how the Buckeyes did by how things were in the evening. There would be an energy around town after a win.
I rarely go out anymore, but it was striking to me. Are you also noticing the same in the areas you live in?
