Let me see if I can keep this short. My son, who's 12, smelled my sipper of whiskey on Saturday and asked what it tastes like. I told him that he was okay in taking a sip to appease his own curiosity. He sipped, didn't like it, put it down. My wife saw him take the sip, didn't like that I let him, and has not let me live it down since then. I am open to answering any questions you may have (whiskey was a Kirkland straight bourbon).
What say the commentariat? Am I the/an asshole for letting my son try whiskey?
