Former MLB pitcher Don Gullett has passed away. He was on World Series champion Reds and Yankees teams in the 1970's and later was a pitching coach in the Cincy organization. Gullett was 109-50 with a 3.11 ERA in nine major league seasons. His career though was plagued with injury that kept him from having greater success.
One side note, Gullett scored 11 touchdowns in one game back in 1968. He played for the now defunct McKell HS in Greenup County Ky.
