Once again I apologize for my inability to attach an article to a post. That being said, Yahoo! Sports under NCAA football had an article about the pursuit of athletes getting paid for their image/likeness.
Apparently, the NCAA, ACC, and Big 12 has paid almost $1 million to lobbyists to affect Congress’ attempts to write the legislation. Basically, the NCAA and the two conferences want to control exactly what the athletes make and what the athletes came make it from. Once again, the NCAA appears to be trying to prevent the athletes from maximizing their earning potential. Thoughts???
