Story on ESPN that Texas is seeking to have 50% capacity for fans at their home games. I believe Texas is a state that has had recent high COVID-19 numbers.
So, if Texas believes that even though their state is a "hot spot" for the virus they can still safely fill half their stadium, why can't the BIG play in even empty stadiums this fall? I guarantee you if you ask the players, alumni, fans, etc., 99.9% of us would rather see college football in the fall in empty stadiums (on TV of course!) than have football moved to the spring or even worse, no college football this year whatsoever.
Hopefully the BIG is working non-stop on plans to to safely play college football in the fall...even in empty stadiums.
