Hopefully this isn't too self-serving (for OSU) of an idea, but especially this year, why not delay the Heisman, possibly until after the playoff is done?
Right now all I can find online is that the award will be given the week before many conference championship games. With the cancellations, reschedules, and delayed start, wouldn't it make sense to get as complete a picture as possible before voting?
I assume they won't, because interest and ratings would drop after we have a national champion, and the exposure bias of the playoff would further benefit players on the top 4 teams. Still, the idea of watching all the games before voting seems to have merit to me.
