For a lot of us, we were semi-surprised when Micah Potter left OSU and chose Wisconsin. That being said, a majority of us wished him the best when 11W posted the article about it.
Fast forwards to tonight.
Marquette had the chance to with the game with 0.9 seconds left after D.J. Carton (another former OSU player we were surprised left OSU but also wished him the best) hit his first free throw and tied the game. He missed his second shot, however, and it seemed the game would be heading to overtime.
Justin Lewis of the Golden Eagles had other things in mind. He muscled former OSU big man, Micah Potter, around and the ball came to him and he tipped it towards the rim, watched as what may have been the longest 0.9 seconds of his life as the ball danced on the rim.....and ultimately went in. It was a crazy ending to shock the #4 Badgers.
