We all know that sign stealing has been a very hot topic lately, particularly because many people believe Brent Venables does so in morally corrupt, if not downright illegal, fashion.

“I did it for more than 10 years for our defensive coordinator,” one of them told me. “And what most fans don’t know is that most teams do it, or at least try to do it, and it is considered fair game. None of us ever consider it cheating.”

As you can see by that quote, one anonymous coach doesn't think much of it.  Jeff Snook has been discussing it on social media, and today he wrote a great article on it.

Personally, I think that what Venables is doing is ethically sketchy, at best, and flat out illegal, at worst.  But, then again, I think Brent Venables is morally bankrupt, so I started out having a pretty low opinion of him.
