Ohio State conquers Chicago with a 31-7 beatdown of Northwestern at Wrigley Field.
In today's rendition of "news that shocks nobody" the new Pac-12 commissioner, during his introductory news conference, shared that he is in favor of Playoff expansion.
New Pac-12 commissioner George Kliavkoff: "I want to go on the record: The Pac-12 is in favor of expansion of the College Football Playoff."

This isn't breaking news by any means but as the Pac-12 has been left out of the playoffs more than any conference, and Notre Dame has been represented in the Playoffs the same number of times as the entire Pac-12 conference this will be a narrative I assume we see pushed by Kliavkoff as one of his big foundational messages in his new position.
I'm definitely not opposed to it, as long as the most deserving teams are still represented overall. And yes, most deserving doesn't always mean best (Ohio State's losses to Iowa/MSU meant no playoff, even though we were probably one of the 4 best teams).
