Honestly I find it surprising he would leave Michigan given the year he had. But maybe, like Brian Kelly, realized he has reached the peak of what Michigan can be. I've talked to some friends who are Michigan alumni and they really aren't surprised, don't blame him one bit. Apparently the administration is not promoting NIL and taking it seriously, and in this age of college football that is absolutely a necessity. I wish him luck, I thought he was a great coach for the 49ers and his brother John has had great success in Baltimore. Mark Davis is reportedly backing up the Brinks truck, and that team is already in a solid position to be competitive.
