"Southern California" for the gamecock fans. We all know Riley was sneaky in bringing a bunch of croots and transfers from OU, but did anyone realize they have the #1 transfer class this year (before factoring in the likely biletnikof winner Jordan Addison, who appears to have already negotiated an NIL deal without even entering the portal, yet). Apparently a few more players out of the PAC like a star ASU lineman are now entering the portal "to pursue NIL opportunities" and are consideree USC leans. USC has the most five star stars for 2023, and while they don't have a top ranked recruiting class for 2022, they were top of the transfer class and are now top ten "overall" per 247.

Ftr I do not believe USC will become a serious contender this season, but Lincoln Riley appears to be utilizing NIL in a way that allows them to compete nationally in recruiting.
Psa Trying to avoid a philosophical debate on NIL here, whether it rubs you the wrong way or not, it is the current reality.
