As it stands now, Texas A&M currently has 16 players in the transfer portal.

Many of whom are from their highly touted 2022 recruiting class, ranked as the highest ever assembled in the recruiting ranking era.
Controversially, many have alleged that A&M boosters spent over $20 million in NIL payments to these recruits to coalesce such an impressive class.
My question: What happens to all that money now with players that choose to leave? Is there some kind of clause in these contracts that nullifies them if the player doesn't play in X amount of games? Did these boosters just get completely fleeced?
Some of these players ended up redshirting, and possibly are walking away with millions from Aggie boosters that can't be too pleased. Curious if anyone has thoughts on this
