There are those who will say, “So what? It’s spring practice!” But as Spencer Holbrook of Lettermen Row said, “It shows the power of Ohio State football. If the Buckeyes are on the field, people will show up to watch. And while there are plenty of questions surrounding the program right now, it has championship potential to show off.” And with over three dozen recruits in attendance, Buckeye Nation turning out in force and making a big impression can pay B1G dividends.
Assuming these numbers are legit, I have to admit that, so far, the Deion Effect appears to be real: Folsom Field was 94.2% full for Colorado's spring game.
Auburn—which went to great lengths to convince its AD to resign, fired head coach Bryan Harsin, and hired Hugh Freeze—announced it had 16,367 fans, which isn't very impressive for an SEC program of its stature, but a lot fewer than that were actually there.
Auburn claiming todays attendance is 16,367.

It’s always interesting that despite having CFB’s biggest stadium, not to mention it’s won the B1G and made the CFP the last two years, Michigan rarely shows up on these lists. The official attendance for the 2023 Michigan Spring Game was 18,750.
