I was just thinking of what would be an sort-of-equivalent of Messi signing in MLS to that of someone on college football... and maybe I have it. What is LeBron said he wanted to sign with Ohio State to play football?

First off, would this be allowed on any level? He's never played any college sport, nor has he ever been paid to play football. Wouldn't he technically have eligibility?

Also, what other recruits to college football could make that kind of splash?
