Some might suggest that with serious scholarship reductions and post-season bans, expectations will be lower and that equates earning with less pressure. Some will think that coaching as a lame duck for as many as 2 to 3 years under sanctions, followed by another 2 to 3 years for the program’s recovery, does real damage to a coach’s legacy and or trajectory.
