Announced today that Gold will no longer be calling games for Bama. Was not a particular fan of Gold whether he did Bama games or Nascar but the guy has been the voice of Bama for 35 years. He insists he is not retiring. Sounds like this was a bit of an acrimonious separation. Imagine if Ohio State decided no more Paul Keels against his wish to stay on.
