I'm not much a fan on the source for this, but there are apparently rumblings that Nebraska may merge their Lincoln and Omaha branches in attempt to regain their AAU status. I guess some members of the conference have seriously floated the idea of kicking them out because of the lack of AAU accreditation.

If the presidents are willing to kick a school out over AAU, that kind of kills the thought that FSU and Clemson are the next additions since neither is AAU. There is only one non-AAU school they'd allow, and it's the losers in South Bend.
