Long a believer that the so-called G5 would get its own playoff, I am happy to hear Josh Pate talk about its reasonable likelihood:

This would be a great opportunity for Cincinnati and Ohio’s MAC teams.

For the MAC this would be particularly well-deserved, given the historical impact of this conference upon college football and the great coaches and players it has produced.

I hope Ohio’s G5 football teams dominate! Imagine the Bucks and an Ohio G5 team each winning natties in the same year! OHIO RULES!
