Suspicions have arisen that the deal with UNLV and the PAC 12 fell apart after UNLV rwfused to change its name to NLV State. As all the current members are now "State" schools, there are sponsorship negotiations under way with All-State in which naming rights for the conference would be included in the form of "The All-State PAC 12". Interest has now turned to Texas State and NM State as potential additions.
