Former Buckeye (once a Buckeye?) and current Iowa Hawkeye Kaleb Brown, previously played for the good guys for the 2022 season. He then transferred to Iowa in 2023 for some strange reason. Kaleb now has called off the season and will redshirt the rest of 2024 and enter the Transfer Portal.
I remember him being a bid deal coming out of the Chicago high school programs (#6 WR). I also remember him initially committing to TCUN, then flipping to OSU back in 2021. There was all kinds of butt-hurt on Mgo and lots of cheating accusations coming from those fans. LOL, right?
Iowa said Brown also will enter the transfer portal after he announced that he would redshirt and sit out the rest of the season. The former Ohio State transfer and top-100 recruit was the Hawkeyes' third-leading receiver in 2023 with 215 yards and a touchdown on 22 receptions but has played sparingly in three games this season, recording one catch for 18 yards.
