This should be fun to see play out. There have been questions as to where the DoE would land on the proposed settlement between the federal government and the NCAA with regards to the need to proportionally share revenue between men and women sports participants.

According to a memo just released by the DoE on the subject the proposed plans of most universities to address the revenue sharing would be in violation of Title IX.

At some point the bureaucrats making up the rules and judges deciding cases you would think need to recognize how the marketplace is deciding what has a certain value relative to other activities.

Think this will make for some interesting further discussions.
