Even though they have the regular season championship wrapped up they didn't let up. Wisconsin started out hot and was up 1-0 at the end of the first period outshooting the Buckeyes 23-9 which is very unusual. Coach Nadine got the ship righted in the second period as the Buckeyes took a 2-1 lead at the end of 2 and almost evened up the shot count. Third period was pretty much a stalemate with the Buckeyes scoring an empty net goal with under a minute left. Buckeyes ultimately out shot Wisconsin 34-29.

Buckeyes are now 3-0 against #2 Wisconsin this year and go for the season sweep tomorrow. Game is on BTN at 9 pm Saturday.
