It was a great night for Ohio State hockey.
Hours after Ohio State women’s hockey earned its fifth straight Frozen Four berth with a 6-1 win over St. Lawrence in the NCAA regional finals, Ohio State men’s hockey punched its ticket to the Big Ten Tournament championship game with a 4-3 overtime win over Penn State in the conference semifinals.
Gunnarwolfe Fontaine, who also scored the Buckeyes’ first goal of the game, delivered the game-winner in overtime to punch Ohio State’s ticket to the conference championship game.
