With their last second, one point win at Minnesota, Maryland has pretty much assured the Buckeyes a first round BYE in the BTT. They have 8 losses in conference play, but MN, NW, NE, and Purdont all have 10 or more, so...the Buckeyes are almost certain to finish in the top ten of the conference and won't have to play on the first day of the tournament.

Who knows? If the Buckeyes win out, they might even get a second-day bye as well, depending upon how the other teams above them do.
