Both are good coaches, neither are elite coaches. Most concerning IMHO is that such coaches can be un-fireable. In the case of Ferentz he may never win an outright Big Ten title, but he keeps Iowa hovering around “ranked team” status and can pull off enough top 10 wins to get the fan base riled up for a week or two. In the case of Holtmann, he may never win a Big Ten title and may never eclipse an Elite Eight but his teams will randomly pop up in the top 25 or top 10.
