Minnesota transfer forward Jamison Battle has received a crystal ball to Ohio State from 247Sports basketball analyst Travis Branham.
The fifth-year senior who spent his first two seasons of college basketball at George Washington led the Gophers with averages 17.5 points and 6.3 rebounds per game in his first year with the program (2021-22), and put up 12.4 points per game this past season.
The 6-foot-7, 225-pound wing would address a major positional need for Ohio State, as the Buckeyes are already losing Justice Sueing and Eugene Brown and could also lose Brice Sensabaugh, should he remain in the NBA draft.
With Ohio State also losing 3-point marksman Sean McNeil, Battle would give the Buckeyes a high-volume long-range shooter who's attempted an average of 7.1 3-pointers a game at a 35% clip for his career.
