I hope that it was either pre-designated that the top seed would be the first game on Friday or that they had a choice as to which time slot to be in. That is a 11:30 am local time game. Iowa has the 6:30 pm slot, Indiana 9 pm and MSU 3 pm.

I see pluses and minuses for that slot. Early game under the assumption they win gives them more rest time for their semi-final game. Negatives are it is early local time and they are not in a tv prime time slot.

Their time is not unlike South Carolina the overall #1 seed right now and #1 in the SEC who tips off their first game at 12 noon on Friday.

All games are on BTN except for the championship game which will be at noon on CBS on Sunday
