Jacy Sheldon is on the move ahead of her second WNBA season.
The Dallas Wings are trading the former Ohio State guard to the Connecticut Sun along with the No. 8 overall pick in this year’s WNBA draft in exchange for former Baylor/Stanford guard DiJonai Carrington and the No. 12 overall pick, according to Winsidr’s Rachel Galligan.
Sheldon, who joined Ohio State’s coaching staff in November as director of player development but will continue to play in the WNBA, averaged 5.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in her rookie season with the Wings, starting 26 of the Wings’ 40 games despite battling a lower-leg injury.
