I was just at a work meeting on South Campus and saw Meechie in street clothes walk north along High Street - 15 minutes later he walked by again in the opposite direction with what appeared to be a bag of food in his hand. He was by himself and looked completely normal - just a student out and about picking up lunch.

Meechie is out and away from the team right now due to a "personal matter" that has been strongly hinted at as being a family issue.

I mention all of this because I had just assumed that Meechie was NOT in Columbus right now - and that he was tending to a family issue in Cleveland, which is where his family is from. Obviously that's an incorrect assumption.

Does anyone have any insider information about what the situation is and whether it will resolve in time for Meechie to rejoin the team this season?
