We have lost the foul differential in EVERY SINGLE CONFERENCE GAME, except for Minnesota on 1/6.
They blew the whistle against the Gophers for 28 fouls that night compared to 25 against us.
There was also a game or two where total team fouls were even, but other than these few instances we’ve been on the wrong side of the whistle EVERY SINGLE GAME!
This is freaking ridiculous. I know some ppl always blame the refs, and some ppl never blame the refs. I just notice the fouls seem to pile up against our team every night & we get killed at the charity stripe.
If you’ve noticed the same thing and wondered if you’re imagining it. You are not.
I checked the ESPN box score for EVERY B1G game, even the 2 played early in the season (Maryland & Rutgers). We’ve been on the punitive side of the whistle in EVERY contest except for aforementioned thrilling 2OT victory against Minnesota at the beginning of January. This is very frustrating
