Duke University announced Wednesday morning that Jack Wohlabaugh, who transferred from Ohio State after last season, has been granted immediate eligibility by the NCAA to play for the Blue Devils this season.
A three-star recruit out of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, in the recruiting class of 2016, Wohlabaugh never played a snap in his two years with the Buckeyes, but is currently the second-string center on Duke's offensive line depth chart behind redshirt senior Zach Harmon.
A redshirt sophomore, Wohlabaugh has three remaining seasons of eligibility.
Wohlabaugh expressed his excitement at the NCAA's decision on Twitter following Wednesday morning's announcement.
Excited for the opportunity to get out on the field this year! Very happy at my new home. https://t.co/DPO4GK3Ym6
