Jalin Marshall's return to the NFL was short-lived, at least for now.
The Oakland Raiders waived Marshall on Thursday, just two days after signing the former Ohio State H-back to a one-year contract.
Marshall spent this spring playing for the AAF's Orlando Apollos, catching 26 passes for 364 yards and three touchdowns – all of which ranked among the league's top 10 – in eight games before the league folded.
However, he has not played in an NFL regular-season game since 2016, when he was a rookie with the New York Jets, and now he finds himself back on the free-agent market again.
