2025 cornerback Jordyn Woods flips from Cincinnati and commits to Ohio State.
College football watch list season has officially begun.
The National College Football Awards Association began its two-week rollout of preseason watch lists on Monday with a 90-player watch list for the Bednarik Award, which honors the nation's best defensive player, and it includes the top returning star on Ohio State's defense, redshirt junior cornerback Shaun Wade.
Wade, who is moving to outside cornerback after playing slot cornerback for the last two seasons, is expected to be one of college football's best defensive backs in 2020 and will look to become Ohio State's second consecutive winner of the Bednarik Award. Chase Young became the first Buckeye to win the Bednarik Award last year.
Wade was also named as a second-team preseason All-American by the Walter Camp Football Foundation.
