Ohio State's got a couple of true freshmen balling out this season – TreVeyon Henderson, Denzel Burke, Tyleik Williams.
It got me thinking, which Buckeye player impressed you the most as a true freshman? It doesn't necessarily have to be a guy who was immediately incredible (though that sure doesn't hurt), but who caught your attention the most playing as a true freshman?
I think for me, it was Braxton Miller. He was really, really raw that first season, but the flashes of absurd talent and athleticism were there right at the start. Ohio State had just lost the most athletic quarterback I'd ever seen and I thought we'd never see anything like that again at the position.
Then, I watched an 18-year-old do this:
Ryan Shazier is probably up there too. Same season!
