It seems to me that Coach Knowles installed a complex defensive scheme at Oklahoma State.  He reached success with it after the team learned it and things became instinctual.   It took four years and some senior leadership to reach the success we are hoping to see him have here.   

Over the last decade, we have seemed to struggle any time we have tried to implement a complex system.  Are we going to have the patience to sit through a year or two of a defense that doesn't know what the hell it is doing before things click for the players?

I hope he comes here and has immediate success I'm excited to see him come on board.  But, let's give him some time before we pull out the pitchforks if things don't turn around right away.
