Do not understand the reason to disable comment voting in the open thread for the football game last night(or, in my case, since I live some 8000 miles distant, this morning starting at 02:30 in the AM.)

I rarely interject in the open thread, instead sit in sort of a half awake mode on my front porch, drinking a coffee, and following the play by play with Paul Keels. But it is nice to make a comment about being an overseas fan who is follwing the action from a distant land at an ungodly hour and coming back a few minutes later and seeing an upvote, or a downvote, either way its a method many people have of recognizing a fellow Buckeye fan.
