As if the roadie Purdue games aren't always bizarre enough for us, there's a damn solar eclipse on Saturday. West Lafayette will have peak sun blockage of around 45-55% during the game on Saturday. Which, if that isn't the gods telling us to buy a lot of alcohol and prepare for something spooky to happen that's on us.
What's most fascinating though is that the North Texas - Temple game is going to have something close to 85% sun blockage right at kickoff. Are we going to see the lights on for a noon kick??
Maybe nobody else gives a shit about this, and I don't blame you!! But when's the last time SPACE WEATHER effected college football?
We even get a Saban quote in this article...look guys I'm a software engineer who lives and dies by college students playing games with a ball, so I don't know if Saturday could get any better than this LOL
