Woody Hayes said that when he would visit a recruit's home, he would take into account the mannerisms of a kid's parents, particularly the mother.  If a kid had a loving mother he was more likely to conduct himself as an adult, and treat others with respect.  Hayes would share this tidbit with his coaches and players. 

Even more importantly, giving unconditional love as a parent is essential because it allows one to overcome mistakes.  To be a secure and confident person -it all stems from loving parent(s.)

I know 50% of our fans probably already know this and I'm preaching to the choir. 

Just imagine if some of our fans supported our coach and our young QB through a loss.
