Not interested in stray opinions of Barton/Nevada but we all know they have excellent sources and are right way more often than many others on the beat… they are adamant that the cheaters are going to get hammered worse than anyone not named SMU. 30+ Games vacated, championship/bowls unrecognized, recruiting restrictions, suspensions, and multiple show causes.  They believe Moore and everyone else in the athletic department will be fired.

All that being said, Thamel is usually pretty careful before he releases his predictions.  He believes they will barely get a slap on the wrist. Maybe a 2 game suspension for Moore and possibly but maybe not even a 1 game bowl ban.

These perspectives from pretty solid sources couldn’t be further from agreement.  Who do y’all think will be closer to what eventually happens?
