Three man competition or TE by committee?  The TE depth is needed for some of the 13 and 14 personnel plays.  Yes, plenty of garbage time in the two games, but if it is a three man competition, it doesn’t matter that much.

For this offense with the talent at RBs and WRs, it’s probably better if the TEs concentrate mostly on blocking and becoming better overall TEs.  I still say less 12, more base, more 10 personnel.
