Last night he played a direct part in two scoring plays (the Egbuka TD and Smith's highlight reel TD catch) because he was excellent in blitz pickup on both of those plays and bought the QBs enough time to get the passes off. In prior years Tre would've missed those blocks and the QB would've been sacked. Looks to me like Locklyn has been more gung ho about our RBs being willing to do the dirty work as well as carrying the ball than Benedict Alford was.
I Noticed Tre's Blitz Pickup Has Improved Tremendously This Year from Where It Was in Previous Years.
