Well, another week in the B1G, another slate of games.
I checked ESPN's scoreboard to see the entry price (As Low As) for each game. And, as we all know, these values do not reflect the extra taxes or fees of which we're accustom.
It's week 7 - nothing but conference games. And, one major top3 showdown. Gee, I wonder which game will be pricey this weekend.
Home | Away | As Low As | notes |
---|---|---|---|
Maryland | Northwestern | $2 | not a typo (on a Friday) |
UCLA | Minnesota | $21 | |
Illinois | Purdon't | $26 | #Bert |
Rutgers | Wisconsin | $33 | |
USC | Penn St. | $61 | |
Iowa | Washington | $66 | For Some reason, Iowa still cares |
Oregon | OSU!!! | $240 | and, that's the CHEAPEST |
Seven Games - two of them priced at both ends of the spectrum
- Cheaper than a gas station diet pepsi division
- I guess nobody in College Park cares -- Northwestern is bad, Maryland is bad, why show up?
- this also marks the first conference game under $10. And not even close to $10.
- $21 - $33 Division
- UCLA plays at one of CFB's most heralded stadiums within a county that has a bigger population than 42 states. Nobody cares.
- Also, a few miles away, USC hosts PSU.
- Technically, because of the starting times, if you're in the LA area, you could go to both games in one day. How's that for B1G football?
- One loss Illinois & Rutgers have home games and technically still alive in the playoffs
- Everyone knows they won't make it.
- At least Illinois can pretend another week against Purdon't
- UCLA plays at one of CFB's most heralded stadiums within a county that has a bigger population than 42 states. Nobody cares.
- $61 - $66 division
- USC has a real game against PSU, actual playoff eliminator.
- Iowa -- well, credit to the fans for still believing. All hail Kirk.
- $240 -- Top 3 showdown
- No need to build this one up. We all know.
